Lyons Donates to Our Town's ICE Fight

Since Lyons Construction was established in 1929 we have had a strong connection with Our Town Geelong.

Through our employees, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and their families we are continually striving to build a better Geelong for all to work and live.

Alcohol and drug abuse is a growing problem and poses enormous problems for our community.

We want Geelong to be a place where people can be safe, happy and prosperous.

On behalf of all persons connected with Lyons Construction we would like to contribute to Our Town’s ICE Fight by donating $3,000 to the Australian Drug Foundation for their education program ‘Tradie Trainer’.

This free program which will be launched in February next year will initially be developed for the construction industry providing alcohol and drug education. It will answer the question ‘How can you help yourself or other people?’ It will be accessed through a smart phone and provides a short information video.

We hope we can all continue working together and urge all the people of Geelong to keep up the fight.
